Michelle Baumgartner serves with Cru at NMU and MTU: Winning, building and sending in the power of the Holy Spirit - introducing students to Christ, helping them grow in their faith, and equipping them to live missionally wherever God calls them. She also works to help the body of Christ do evangelism and discipleship.

Dennis & Lydia Bowen serve with Ripe for Harvest World Outreach by offering Christian counseling courses in Ukraine and Moldova. They currently reside in the U.S. and are primarily creating training videos and hosting live seminars for Ukrainian and Russian speakers. They continue to provide regular support and supervision to staff on the ground in Kyiv.

The Captive Project Church is located in Milwaukee, WI. The church aims to empower people to overcome addiction and violence, fostering a fulfilling life through the love of Christ. They offer hope and healing to marginalized individuals in areas affected by crime and poverty, with a focus on long-term discipleship and community transformation. The Captive Project is also associated with local prison ministry and transitional housing for former inmates.

Scott & Leah Conner serve with AWANA in Northern Michigan. Their goal is to encourage and equip churches engaged in child discipleship through AWANA.

Doug & Lori Dawe work at Cru Headquarters in Orlando, FL. Doug serves on Cru's Global Advancement team to help resource global ministries and strategies. Lori has been working with Unto (Cru's humanitarian division), leading Women’s Health Initiative trips with the goal of relieving suffering, restoring dignity, and revealing the hope of Jesus to women in some of the toughest places on earth.

John & Lori Decleene serve as Mobilization Specialists with Converge Worldwide. They advise and coach newly appointed Converge missionaries as they complete their pre-deployment requirements and ensure they reach their field fully prepared.

Gary & Marie Harrison serve with Pinnacle Ministries. Their focus is helping pastors and small to mid-sized churches take strategic steps for kingdom impact. Gary also serves intermittently as an interim pastor, and they work to strengthen churches in Japan.

Hadi serves as an Associate Pastor for the Upper Room Church in Glasgow, Scotland, a ministry to Iranian refugees. He was initially involved primarily with technical support. With the passing of Wes White, he has stepped into more of a leadership role, including Bible teaching and organizing church services.

Ed & Valerie Johnson serve with World Team Indonesia. Ed is the Field Director, overseeing and encouraging numerous ministry teams. Val serves in education for missionary kids. They continue to be involved with the Diuwe tribe (with whom they lived and ministered to for over 20 years) and in Bible translation.

Mike & Samya Johnson serve with Call of Love ministries. They use satellite TV to share the Gospel with Arab Muslims, and operate a secure online church to disciple Muslim converts to Christianity. They also offer seminars and workshops to teach others how to reach Muslims for Christ.

Dave & Sue Michels serve with Cru at NMU. Their goal is to multiply disciples as they develop a caring community passionate about connecting people to Jesus Christ. Dave serves as the Operations Team Leader, and Sue has recently transitioned to Cru Staff Emeritus - more of a volunteer, but still on campus once a week!

David & Breanna Millard serve with Pioneer Bible Translators in North Africa. They use Bible translation as a tool for discipleship and church planting. Their work also involves training local pastors and leaders, teaching Scripture, and helping with community development projects.

Jared & Allison O'Connor serve with Cru at NMU. They seek to fulfill the Great Commission by winning, building, and sending college students in the U.P. who continue to multiply disciples wherever God leads them. Recently, they have been working to create strong community among students and a culture of evangelism and discipleship.

George & Tammy Roller founded Send Me to share the Gospel with the Quiche people of Joyabaj, Guatemala. They work to transform people's lives through education and community development in ways that enable them to become self-sufficient and live with dignity. They have been busy over the past year training pastors, sharing the Gospel with children, finishing translation of the Quiche Bible, working to obtain and equip a mobile medical bus, and hosting missions teams from the U.S.

Matthew & Sarah Smith lead Encounter Academy in Guatemala, a K-12 school for children of families in full-time ministry service. They also recently launched the Encounter Christian Guest House, as an opportunity for evangelism, discipleship, and an affordable retreat for families engaged in ministry work.

Joel & Tatjana White serve in Germany. Joel teaches New Testament at the Giessen School of Theology. The goal of the school is to provide an evangelical alternative to liberal state schools. He is also an author, speaker, and podcast co-host.

Russ White.png
Russ & Beth White serve with World Gospel Mission in Kenya. They train and disciple cardiothoracic surgeons and their families, as well as treat patients and minister to them in the name of Jesus. Russ is a cardiothoracic surgeon and serves as the Tenwek Hospital Director of Medical Services. Beth works to administratively support their ministry.

Gospel Opportunities, Inc. was formed in 1975 for the purpose of sharing the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and to help build up Christians in their faith. Gospel Opportunities owns and operates a number of radio facilities across the U.P. and northern Lower Michigan. The Marquette station is WHWL (Witnessing His Wonderful Love), and Andy Larsen is the station manager.

Paul & Robina Wolff serve with International Gospel Outreach in Papua New Guinea, currently working to translate the Old Testament into the Solong language. They also lead Teaching Others Africa, working with seminary-trained African church leaders to open Bible training centers throughout Africa.

The Care Clinic seeks to give emotional, spiritual, and material assistance to pregnant women and families. They offer an "Earn While You Learn" program so that clients can earn needed items by attending educational classes. They also have a medical clinic with ultrasound capabilities.

The Salvation Army, an international movement, exists to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
